Lung and Male Cancers- November-December 2025

November 2025

Secondhand Smoke

When I was still a teen, I met a lung cancer patient. My mom was a psychiatric volunteer at a cancer foundation, and I was with her as a volunteer. I was sitting in the corner, waiting for my mom to finish packing, when a man came up to me and shared his story.

It Runs in the Family

Growing up you don’t know much about those around you. It takes years for children to familiarize themselves with their families. He had been able to do get his doctrine and ironically, it was about how people use virtual realties as escapism, and he was really proud of his research on it.

Why we choose Lung and Male Cancers.

It feels like every year I lose someone to Cancer, and particularly Lung Cancer. We lost my husband’s grandmother, around 2021 and his mother a few years later. I lost a best friend to it as well. It feels like, at least one person, gets it and I’ve yet to have someone survive it.
