When grief turns to madness; the story of friends, loss and redemption.

When I think of Imvu, and all that it has become, it’s bittersweet. I joined the app at least 10 years ago. Time has flown by. I have wonderful memories of hanging out with best friends, joyful nights full of laughter. We’d all go to our friends room, chill, and have a wild time. We grew together. We thrived together. We got through the good and the bad times; together. We became a bonded community, and no matter what seems to happen, that bond has remained strong. It’s a kind of love, the kind that feeds the soul. Not romantic nor sexual, but a deep rooted friendship between us all.

A Photo Artist's tale: RyRy's story

I’ve always seen myself as an artistic person or at least I like to think so. Ever since I was a child, I’ve been drawn to creating and expressing myself through art. I studied art throughout primary and secondary school, where I even had the opportunity to represent my school in various art competitions and exhibitions. Those experiences helped me appreciate creativity in all its forms and was the catalyst for my artistic journey.

Meet the Founders

It's been such a dream and amazing goal of mine (Rinny) to share the stories of people on Imvu. I think we're downcast a lot. It's a "VR" (Virtual reality) and ours stories go on in silence. Our worries, concerns and sometimes even our goals, but not anymore. With these amazing people, I get to help share the stories I've always wanted to.
