Gin's Story

I have always been a quiet and shy person. I’m not one to go outside my comfort zone, let alone look outside it. After joining IMVU, however, I’ve found I have changed.

When you’re on IMVU for over 10 years, you have different phases. You have the pants swaying to your bottom phase, the emo/goth phase, or the one where you have a nice button top with jeans, it never really goes away. After you perfect your avatar, (or as close as the Gods allow you to, really) you find yourself exploring above and beyond. You go to clubs, meet djs, and see the bigger world of IMVU. I’ve worked in clubs as a stripper, to have a wild party with friends. I’ve had amazing hours or roleplaying as elves, as we wander the countryside. I’ve been able to be a Dragon Master, or Vampire Lord, such fun times and I miss the RP community. I'm in a cult, they call me "cult Daddy" and are some of the best people I've ever met. I have a young woman, I've known since she was 15, another since 16 and as crazy as it sounds, those girls are like my own real daughters. I've gotten to become many things, I never thought I could be on IMVU, and the people you surround yourself with really do make or break the experience. 

You have fun with friends, in their rooms, and find your people. I’ve found, over the years, I am a lot more closed minded, in many ways, then the way I began. I've lost a lot of good people, and gained a lot of great friends. I’ve not always enjoyed the journey, but here we are. 

I have really enjoyed modeling, and pushing myself past my limits. I enjoy working with the creators who let me go wild! I've found creators that love what I do, and we get to create some amazing moments together. It also introduced me to one of the sweetest people I've ever met. I am blessed to have many creator and model friends, who are more about the art of it all.  It’s been such a fun new era for me, on IMVU. I’m grateful to those who’ve helped me along the way.
