My name is Buttercup and I would like to share my story. Over 3 years ago, I was in the wrong relationship. I was neglected and basically emotionally manipulated by a liar. I remember crying to my father wondering where I was going wrong despite me still being present, me supporting and loving this person the best I could. Eventually I simply decided it was time to leave. I accepted that being alone was better than risking another relationship. My father would joke with me, “That’s too bad because I know someone that you’d like”. And despite my pleas of no more matchmaking, my father low and behold invited his and my family’s long time friend, Fox. I immediately knew who joined our family’s server, I immediately gravitated towards this person despite just ending the wrong relationship despite telling my father no more.

Day one was spent chatting nicely and catching Pokémon all day. Day two was spent him comforting me as I cried to this stranger as I learned the truth of my ex. Day three was spent him doing anything to put a smile on my face again. Three days. Yes it sounds insane but I’ll tell you something. In those three days, he’s showed me the most respect I’ve ever received, he’s showed me the butterflies I’ve been missing for years, he’s shown me so much care in taking the time to pick up the pieces he didn’t break. By the end of day three I was immediately in love with him. And by the end of day three, he asked me to be his. How is it going? 3 years and 5 months later, we are married, raising our amazing daughter on imvu together and we do not plan to every change it.
Fox is the one to hold the key to my heart and I pray he never gives it back. He showed me real true love, he showed me how to heal and he showed me that falling in love is risky but worth it with the right person. My soulmate.
