Our New Year's Resolutions

Why Resolutions?

It's one of those things that just sticks with you. When I was a little girl, my parents and family would always tell me we had to each come up with a New Year's Resolution. What's something we could do for the following year. Over the years mine has changed. It can be, do something fun, or get my bills in order. Yet, when this year came around, it came so fast, so quickly it was a shock to my core. I wanted to really thrive with MetaMuse VU. I want to continue to make this amazing tribe of people we have together. I don't want us to be solely one voice or perspective, but many.  Thus, I am proud to say, Gin and Red helped me start our New year's resolutions.

What is a New Year's Resolution?

It's a goal, a plan and/or something that inspires you. It's something you want to focus on more, for the following year.

Why the VU?

We're a blog style magazine that is wanting to share the stories and experiences of those from the Virtual Universe. The VU, isn't for IMVU, it's for Virtual Universe. The more popular terminology to is is VL or virtual life. Who knows, maybe in the future we might change or get rid of the VU, but what it stands for is all the same.

We maybe starting in Imvu, but it is our true goal to expand and create a diverse community representing all kinds and all sides of the virtual worlds and universes.

We're not only sharing IMVU stories, but those on Second Life. We might expand our Musers in the future, so feel free to reach out, if you feel, we should include your virtual place too.

What's 2026 Looking like?

As everyone else shares their resolution, it's only fair that the EMuser team, and MetaMuse VU share ours as a Magazine.

We are proud to host causes and campaigns for different perspectives and stories. We're continuing to expand our Musers (Writers) and creating a place where we can all share our stories and experiences. We are hitting causes that matter. We are listening to the voices of the online virtual community. We're not the first magazine, and we will not be the last. However, we want to be the one that resonates with people. Our deep, thought provoking stories, and the amazing Musers who write them, is what drives us to keep going forwards.

There's more great things to come, but our goals are to keep moving forwards. Continue to do our Causes and collaborate with creators, and other magazines and organizations.
